Job Summary

The RN Manager oversees operations, revenue cycle integrity, community education, clinical management, and strategic growth of the Outpatient Wound Care Program and Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT). The role involves planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care delivery, with potential direct patient care responsibilities. Collaboration with clinical and non-clinical leadership is essential for standardizing and improving wound care practices.

Essential Functions

• Manage daily operations and ensure compliance within the outpatient wound program
• Analyze data and processes to optimize efficiency and quality
• Implement program objectives, KPIs, and timelines; report trends to leadership
• Promote departmental plans and ensure quality performance
• Collaborate with clinical and regional leaders to standardize best practices
• Participate in hospital meetings to foster collaboration and advocate for the wound center
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (required)
• Master of Science in Nursing (preferred)

Licensure/Certifications

• Current state RN license or Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
• BLS (American Heart Association) – required prior to direct patient care
• Preferred Certifications: CWCN, COCN, CCCN, CWON

Experience

• Management and/or leadership experience in nursing (required)
• Experience in Wound Care and HBOT (preferred)
• Experience in hospital outpatient settings (preferred)

Training

• Completion of a UHMS-approved 40-hour Hyperbaric Medical Society course within 6 months of hire and passing the written exam (required)
• EPIC EHR training (preferred)
