Job summary

Avir at Henderson is seeking a qualified Charge Nurse LVN or RN to join our team in Henderson, Texas. You will provide direct nursing care, supervise nursing staff, and play a key role in coordinating resident care on your unit.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents, including administering medications, taking vital signs, and performing treatments as needed
• Supervise and delegate tasks to nursing assistants and other healthcare staff to ensure efficient and effective care delivery
• Conduct regular rounds to monitor resident care and identify areas for improvement
• Develop, implement, and evaluate care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure residents receive comprehensive care
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance overall quality of care

Requirements:
