A leading healthcare provider in North Carolina is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality patient care in a behavioral health setting. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients, manage resources, and collaborate with healthcare teams. This role requires NC Board of Nursing licensure and BLS certification, with a preference for candidates holding a BSN and experience in behavioral health.
The RN performs functions of assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for assigned patients on a unit during shift. RN is responsible for managing all assigned personnel, supplies, and equipment. RN is responsible for promoting collaboration with all members of the healthcare team. RN Care Team Leader develops a work plan and provides clear directions and expectations for the care partner.
Scheduled Shift: 7p-7a
Hours Per Week: 12 hours (PRN)
This position requires NC Board of Nursing (NCBON) licensure - evidence of the individual's NCBON license is acceptable to demonstrate their academic achievement. RN or LPN.
BSN preferred.
Previous behavioral health inpatient patient care experience preferred.
BLS certification at the time of hire from American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
De-escalation training (within 30 days).
