Job summary

Atrium Health Floyd Medical Center is seeking a dedicated RN for the Nights shift in our Nursing Float Pool. This full-time position requires night hours (7pm-7am) with 36 hours per week and 3-12 hour shifts, including rotating weekends and holidays.

RNs will float across departments within the main campus and affiliated facilities, delivering high-quality, compassionate care. Applicants must complete an accredited nursing program, hold a state RN license, and possess BLS/ACLS certifications.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• BLS & ACLS for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Two years of hospital bedside care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process.
• Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.

We’re Looking For

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
