Registered Nurse RN Lead Cardiac FT Days

Join Carondelet Health Network as a Registered Nurse Lead - Cardiac in a full-time day shift position. We offer up to a $20,000 bonus based on eligibility.

Position Summary

The Clinical Lead assists the nurse manager/director in coordinating, directing, and evaluating patient care, unit activities, and staff performance. Incorporates nursing standards and knowledge of patient growth and development to make effective assignments and interventions. Manages clinical and non-clinical activities in the absence of the unit manager/director, ensuring smooth unit operation.

Responsibilities
  1. Supervise patient care and unit needs during the shift, serving as the designee for unit matters in the manager's absence.
  2. Assign staff and delegate tasks to meet patient needs, monitoring effectiveness and completion.
  3. Evaluate staffing considering caregiver mix, patient volume, acuity, and staff availability.
  4. Communicate effectively with team members and others.
  5. Support quality improvement initiatives and serve as a role model for customer service.
  6. Mentor staff for professional development and support quality projects and evaluations.
  7. Troubleshoot issues and inform management of circumstances and outcomes.
  8. Take patient care assignments and serve in various roles as needed.
  9. Represent the unit on committees or task forces.
Qualifications
