Job summary

Lake Regional Health System is seeking a Lead Registered Nurse (RN) for our Laurie Clinic in Missouri. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and a patient-focused approach to deliver safe therapeutic care and guide the nursing team.

The Lead RN will coordinate care plans, mentor staff, and ensure patient privacy while staying current with medical developments and best practices in an outpatient setting. Missouri RN licensure and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Missouri RN licensure required
• BLS certification required
• Annual influenza vaccine required.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care; including assessment, diagnosis, planning implementation, and evaluation
• Maintains patient privacy and confidentiality
• Performs routine physical assessment
• Develops and implements individual plans of care in collaboration with other members of the healthcare team
• Recognizes abnormal assessment data and incorporates findings into the plan of care
• Appropriately delegates tasks and provides direction to healthcare team members.
• Organizes and coordinates patient care activities (procedures, therapies, and tests)
• Maintain professional competency
• Keeping abreast of current medical and new medical developments

Someone who is able to provide safe therapeutic care and integrate their knowledge, skill set, and experiences to meet the needs of patients and families throughout the care of the patient.
