Job summary

AdventHealth in Louisville, CO is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for Labor and Delivery to join a night shift team. You will provide direct patient care, monitor mother and newborn status, administer medications, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, compassionate outcomes.

Eligible clinicians may earn salary increases through our Clinical Ladder Program and benefit from day-one medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 403-B plan, and relocation/sign-on options.

Qualifications

• Requires RN license (registered in state)
• Associate degree in nursing required; Bachelor's preferred
• BLS certification required
• Labor & Delivery experience (1 year) required

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients across physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual and lifestyle factors
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care
• Administer medications and treatments safely following physician orders and hospital protocols
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies
• Collaborate with medical staff and departments to coordinate patient care and ensure effective communication
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient information, care activities, interventions and outcomes

Work Experience:

• A minimum of 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience [Required]
