Job summary

Wilson Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in a 3X12 schedule (7P-7A) with rotating holidays and weekends. This in-person role includes a $20,000 commitment bonus and comprehensive benefits. A current RN license, BLS within 30 days, and at least 1 year of experience are required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs.
• Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions.
• Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient.
• Maintains timely and accurate documentation of medical necessity in the medical record.
• Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
• Performs timely and accurate QI assessments.

More about our team

The Nursery at Wilson Medical Center is comprised of a well-baby nursery as well as a 2-bed level II nursery serving newborns greater than 32 weeks gestation. The nursery provides care to more than 800 newborns annually.

How you'll contribute

A Registered Nurse (RN), who excels in this role:

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs
• Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions
• Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient
• Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
• Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient
• Performs timely and accurate QI assessments

What we're looking for- a compassionate nurse with a deep understanding of critical care principles and advanced patient monitoring.

Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess a degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:

• Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
• One year of experience required
