Highpoint Health Riverview, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) in Labor & Delivery for a full-time, day shift in Carthage, TN. You will provide direct patient care using the nursing process under the supervision of the department manager.

Qualified candidates will hold an Associate's degree in nursing, an RN license for the state, and BCLS; ACLS, PALS and NRP are preferred. Lifepoint Health offers comprehensive benefits and career growth opportunities.

How you'll contribute

Provides direct patient care to patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. Reports to the Director or Manager of Department.

Patient Populations Served: Neonate, Infant, Early Childhood, Late Childhood, Adolescent, Young Adult, Middle Adult, Older Adult.

Protected Health Information Accessed: Demographic, Clinical, Insurance, Financial, Complete Medical Record.

Exposure: Occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens is present for all employees.

Physical Requirements: Frequent standing, walking, lifting/moving patients, and repetitive hand/arm movements. Regular exposure to biological and chemical hazards, including blood and bodily fluids, hazardous medications, and latex.

Qualifications and requirements

Education: Associate's degree in nursing required; bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.

License: Certifications: Current RN license in state of practice; BCLS required; ACLS, PALS, NRP, and Handle with Care preferred.
