Job summary

Highpoint Health Riverview, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct patient care in Carthage, TN. This full-time, day-shift role emphasizes compassionate, high-quality patient care within a 25-bed hospital setting.

The successful candidate will have an Associate's degree in nursing, active RN license in the state of practice, and BCLS certification, with ACLS/PALS/NRP and Handle with Care preferred. Join a team dedicated to making communities healthier.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in nursing is required; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Current RN license in state of practice is required.

Responsibilities

How You'll Contribute

Provides direct patient care to patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. Reports to the Director or Manager of Department.

Patient Populations Served: Neonate, Infant, Early Childhood, Late Childhood, Adolescent, Young Adult, Middle Adult, Older Adult.

Protected Health Information Accessed: Demographic, Clinical, Insurance, Financial, Complete Medical Record.

Exposure: Occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens is present for all employees.

Physical Requirements: Frequent standing, walking, lifting/moving patients, and repetitive hand/arm movements. Regular exposure to biological and chemical hazards, including blood and bodily fluids, hazardous medications, and latex.
