Job summary

Frye Regional Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) in Labor & Delivery for full-time night shifts. Eligible for a $20,000 sign-on bonus. The team emphasizes compassionate care and a commitment to community health in Hickory, NC.

Applicants should have an RN license and 2+ years of clinical experience. Additional certifications such as ACLS/PALS/NRP are preferred. Benefits include comprehensive coverage, PTO, and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Current state RN license.
• 2+ years of RN experience in labor and delivery or similar.
• ACLS, PALS, NRP certification may be required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs accurate patient assessments and identifies needs.
• Initiates appropriate nursing interventions.
• Provides age-appropriate care and documentation of medical necessity.
• Maintains and revises the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
• Completes timely QI assessments.

How You Will Contribute

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs
• Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions
• Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient
• Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
• Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient
• Performs timely and accurate QI assessments
