Your role is crucial in ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being during labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum care.Responsibilities:
• Labor Support:Provide comprehensive nursing care, monitor vital signs, assess fetal well-being, and manage pain relief options.
• Delivery Assistance:Assist with vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections, maintaining a safe environment.
• Postpartum Care:Monitor mothers and newborns, provide breastfeeding support, and address postpartum concerns.
• Patient Education:Educate families on childbirth, newborn care, breastfeeding, and recovery.
• Clinical Documentation:Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Emergency Response:Respond to obstetric emergencies with critical thinking and adherence to protocols.
• Patient Advocacy:Advocate for patients’ preferences and ensure their needs are met.
