Overview:
As an RN in our Labor and Delivery department, you will provide specialized care to expectant mothers and newborns throughout childbirth, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being during labor, delivery, and postpartum care.
Responsibilities:

• Labor Support: Provide comprehensive nursing care, monitor vital signs, assess fetal well-being, and manage pain relief options.
• Delivery Assistance: Assist with vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections, maintaining a safe environment.
• Postpartum Care: Monitor mothers and newborns, provide breastfeeding support, and address postpartum concerns.
• Patient Education: Educate families on childbirth, newborn care, breastfeeding, and recovery.
• Clinical Documentation: Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Emergency Response: Respond to obstetric emergencies with critical thinking and protocol adherence.
• Patient Advocacy: Advocate for patients' needs and preferences.
• Quality Improvement: Participate in initiatives to enhance patient care processes and outcomes.
