Job summary

DayToDay Health is seeking a Labor & Delivery RN to provide professional bedside care within an assigned unit in California. You will coordinate care planning with interdisciplinary teams, assess patient needs, delegate tasks, and evaluate nursing practices to meet patient goals.

The role includes hourly rounding, adherence to safety protocols, and may involve acting as shift supervisor. Night shifts from 7:00 pm to 7:30 am, full-time with a sign-on bonus and benefits package.

Qualifications

• OB L&D experience of at least 1 year.
• Active California RN license.
• BLS certification; ACLS, NRP, and Advanced Fetal Monitoring required on orientation completion.

Job description

Role: Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Labor and Delivery, providing professional bedside care within an assigned unit.

Responsibilities: Coordinate care planning with interdisciplinary teams, assess patient needs, delegate tasks, and evaluate nursing practices to meet patient goals. Participate in hourly rounding, observe safety protocols, and may act as shift supervisor.

Qualifications & Skills: Requires at least 1 year of OB L&D experience, active RN license in California, BLS certification, with ACLS, NRP, and Advanced Fetal Monitoring required upon completion of orientation.

Key Duties: Deliver individualized, age-specific care based on the nursing process, evaluate care effectiveness, and ensure safety.

Additional Info: Night shifts from 7:00 pm to 7:30 am, every other weekend. Full-time role with benefits including a sign-on bonus. May be asked to assume charge responsibilities during shifts.
