Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital in Barrington, IL seeks a Registered Nurse in Labor & Delivery for full-time night shift. You will provide comprehensive patient care, coordinate nursing processes, and maintain a safe, high-quality patient environment. Where You Will Work

Join the team in our Labor and Delivery Unit at Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital where we have 9 labor rooms, 2 OB Operating rooms and 1 recovery room. With an average of 75 deliveries per month our team of experienced labor nurses provide safe, quality care to our special patients.

We’re Looking For

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing, BSN strongly preferred
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Previous Labor & Delivery experience desired.

What You’ll Do

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
