Job summary

AdventHealth Parker seeks a Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality patient care in a collaborative, faith-based environment. The position emphasizes family-centered education and adherence to nursing standards within a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires an Associate's Degree in Nursing with RN licensure; Bachelor’s preferred. Prior critical care or interventional radiology experience is a plus, and the facility supports ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Experience in interventional radiology or critical care settings is a plus

Responsibilities

• Other duties as assigned.
• Utilizes time, personnel, equipment, and supplies effectively to provide high-quality, cost-effective patient care.
• Manages resources and patient flow by matching nursing competencies with individualized patient and unit needs.
• Uses standards of care, hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines to guide practice.
• Assesses patients' physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs through observation, interviews, and review of medical records and clinical data.
• Develops and implements patient care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, observing outcomes in accordance with nursing standards.
• Demonstrates competency in therapeutic and diagnostic interventions, including IVs, wound care, medication administration, catheterization, and specimen collection.
• Advocates for and protects the health, safety, and rights of each patient.
• Provides patient and family education based on assessment of learning readiness, needs, and ability, and evaluates the effectiveness of teaching.
• Recognizes the patient or designee as a full partner in providing compassionate and coordinated care based on respect for the patient’s preferences, values, and needs.
• Delivers relationship-based care, engaging patients in all aspects of care with respect for cultural differences and diversity.
• Delegates tasks to non-RN personnel in accordance with State Board of Nursing and hospital policy.

Education

• Associate's of Nursing [Required]
• Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]

Work Experience

• 1+ experience preferred nursing skills and knowledge base specific to interventional radiology [Preferred]
