Job summary

AdventHealth in Tampa, Florida, seeks an experienced supervisor with RN/RCIS/CET credentials to lead and coordinate cardiac cath and interventional radiology services. The role focuses on ensuring equipment readiness, patient satisfaction, and collaboration with Medical, Nursing, and Radiology staff.

The position requires 5+ years in cardiac cath and interventional radiology, supervisory experience, and a commitment to AdventHealth’s mission and values. A Florida license is required.

Qualifications

• Must be graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology, Cardiopulmonary/Cardiovascular Technology or Registered Nurse with current state license.
• Licenses listed: RN, RCIS, CET, BLS, ACLS are required.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all Department equipment is operating, scheduling service as needed to minimize downtime.
• Coordinates scheduled procedures with Medical Staff, Nursing Staff, and Radiology Staff.
• Assists with preparation and management of the operational budget, including productivity and capital budget.
• Participates in Pillar team, Unit Improvement, Build a Better Workplace and Performance Improvement initiatives.

Job Description:

• Ensures all Department equipment is operating, scheduling service as needed to minimize downtime.
• Ensures patient satisfaction with services and programs in the area of responsibility.
• Coordinates scheduled procedures with Medical Staff, Nursing Staff, and Radiology Staff.
• Assists with the preparation and management of the operational budget, including productivity and capital budget for areas of responsibility.
• Actively participates in Pillar team, Unit Improvement team, Build a Better Workplace, Performance Improvement, Clinical Accountabilities, and community events, providing direction and leadership where appropriate.
• Identifies areas for business growth and process changes to increase quality, assisting front-line staff in successfully meeting their goals.
• Develops an annual departmental and personal action plan to successfully meet the hospital's Critical Success Factors.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Monitors staff’s ability and follow-through with pre-procedure chart review and post-procedural call back.
• Performs and/or assists staff with routine assignments.
• Organizes daily work volume and assigns staff responsibilities for Invasive Cardiology Procedures (Cath Lab) and Interventional Radiology (Special Procedures, procedural sedation for radiology patients).
• Reviews staff availability and scheduled procedures for the following day, adjusting staff as needed.

Work Experience:

• 1+ years supervisory experience [Required]
• 5+ years experience including cardiac cath and interventional radiology [Required]

Additional Information:
