As an IMCU RN, you’ll provide high-quality, evidence-based care to patients requiring close observation and specialized nursing support. You’ll play an essential role in monitoring complex conditions, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, and ensuring a smooth transition for patients between critical care and general medical-surgical units.

About the unit:

The IMCU is a 24 bed unit that provides care for higher acuity patients in neuro, cardiac, respiratory, surgical, and renal. Typical patients include respiratory failure/congestive heart failure, chronic trached ventilator patients, stroke and seizure patients, MI cardiac patients, Renal hemodialysis, and post op surgical patients with extensive wounds such as decubs, VAT’s, ortho, and ostomy. The Registered Nursing (RN) is responsible to perform a competent level of nursing care as demonstrated by the critical thinking model known as the nursing process. Education

  We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $41.93 - $61.01 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
