Sentara Obici Hospital in Suffolk, VA is seeking a Flexi/PRN RN for Medical-Surgical (Med Surg) to join a Magnet-designated facility with a strong nursing residency program. New grads are welcome; base pay starts at $36/hour for those with less than 1 year of experience, with potential increases up to $61.01/hour and comprehensive benefits.

The 21-bed Med-Surg unit maintains an RN-to-patient ratio of 1:5 or 1:6 and provides mentoring, preceptors, and coordinated staffing to support skill

Qualifications

• BSN/MSN preferred or in progress.
• RN degree or diploma required.
• RN license required.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing care following the nursing process and standards of practice.
• Deliver patient-centered care in Med Surg units with evidence-based methods.
