Job Summary and Qualifications

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for our Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU). In this role, you will provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the hospital. You will work closely with the clinical team to create and implement a care plan that meets each patient’s needs.

In this role, you will provide direct patient care on a critical care step down level for cardiac, vascular, and procedural patients with complex lines, drains, and airways. You will monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions as appropriate utilizing computerized documentation systems. You will instruct and educate patients and family members and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.

Requirements
  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  2. Registered Nurse (RN) License in NH or valid Compact State License.
  3. BLS and ACLS (American Heart Association and/or American Red Cross).
  4. Successful completion of Basic Arrhythmia – (within 3 months from hire).
  5. PCCN Certification (preferred).
  6. TNCC Certification (preferred).
  7. TCAR Certification (preferred).
