Job summary

MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center in Maryland is hiring an experienced Registered Nurse for our 48-bed IMC/Medical-Surgical unit. RNs are cross-trained to care for telemetry and IMC patients, including those requiring chronic ventilator management and insulin drips.

As a Clinical Nurse, you will assess patient conditions, develop care plans, and coordinate interventions with the nursing team. Flexible scheduling and strong mentorship support are offered.

Qualifications

• ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited school.
• Prior clinical nursing experience preferred.
• Active MD RN license or compact state RN with BLS required.

• As a Clinical Nurse, provide skilled, compassionate care to a range of patients.

Unit Highlights

Join our 48-bed IMC/Medical-Surgical unit where nurses are cross-trained to care for both telemetry and IMC patients, including those requiring chronic ventilator management and insulin drips. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced acute care RNs looking to build their skills and transition into higher-acuity nursing.

Our Charge RNs are out of the numbers, allowing them to provide hands-on support, mentorship, and clinical guidance throughout each shift. You'll work alongside a collaborative team with experienced leadership while enjoying flexible scheduling and opportunities for professional growth.

Key Responsibilities

As a Clinical Nurse, you will provide skilled, compassionate care to patients and families across a spectrum of needs—from routine to highly complex. You will assess evolving patient conditions, identify actual and potential health concerns, and develop appropriate care plans. Interventions may be delivered directly or coordinated through collaboration with other members of the nursing team

Qualifications

This position has a hiring range of USD $36.50 - USD $60.34 /Hr.
