Atrium Health is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse for the Intermediate Care (Overflow) unit at High Point Medical Center. This part-time role features a 12-hour shift schedule (7am–7pm) with one shift per week and every third weekend rotation, supporting telemetry patients and IV medications.

The ideal candidate has completed an accredited nursing program, holds a valid RN license in North Carolina, and BLS certification, with over one year of RN experience.

Pay Range:

$38.20 - $57.30

Where You Will Work:

Intermediate Care (Overflow) at High Point Medical Center is a 4 bed unit that provides care to patients who often times have been transferred out of the Intensive Care Unit. The unit is staffed with 1 RN and 1 Nurse Tech. Patients in this unit are admitted with a variety of diagnoses requiring them to have telemetry monitoring and IV medications.

We’re Looking For:

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Greater than 1 year of RN experience (RNs with less than 1 year of RN experience, please apply to openings with “New Graduate RN” in the posting title.)

What You’ll Do:

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
