Hannibal Regional invites applications for an Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility (IRF) Registered Nurse. The IRF is a dedicated 13-bed rehabilitation unit inside Hannibal Regional Hospital serving adults transitioning from acute care requiring intensive rehab and medical oversight.

The role supports stroke, injury and major surgery patients through a coordinated, interdisciplinary approach with Life Point Health.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as professional registered nurse in Missouri (Graduate nurse must obtain licensure within 90 days of graduation)
• BLS CPR certification
• Successful implementation of nursing knowledge/process
• Demonstrates skill in area of specialty

The Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility (IRF) is a 13-bed rehabilitation unit within Hannibal Regional Hospital.

The patient population is comprised of adults who are ready for discharge from the acute care setting but are still in need of continued intensive rehabilitation services, as well as continued medical needs. Stroke, spinal cord injury, amputation, major multiple trauma, hip fracture, brain injury, neurological disorders, and specific joint replacement categories diagnoses comprise the most common reasons for admission. This care is provided through an interdisciplinary approach in partnership with Life Point Health.
