Job summary
Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Massachusetts is seeking an experienced inpatient oncology nurse to provide comprehensive care for adult patients in collaboration with Mount Auburn Hospital.
You will administer chemotherapy and supportive therapies, educate patients and families, and participate in a multidisciplinary team dedicated to exceptional outcomes and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Active Massachusetts RN license required.
- ASN required; BSN preferred (ASN candidates must complete BSN within 4 years).
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience preferred.
- Oncology/Hematology experience preferred.
- ONS Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy Certification required within 6 months of hire (if applicable).
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive inpatient oncology nursing care for adult patients.
- Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, blood products, and supportive therapies per ONS standards.
- Deliver patient and family education, symptom management, and care coordination.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team focused on exceptional patient outcomes.
- Contribute to quality, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives.
