Role

The Inpatient Dialysis Registered Nurse (RN) provides direct patient care in a hospital setting, specializing in dialysis treatments such as hemodialysis, CVVHDF, CVVHD, and more.

Responsibilities

Develops and implements individualized care plans, assesses patient needs, educates patients and families on illness management, and promotes patient safety and quality care. Engages in professional development and collaborates with the healthcare team to ensure continuous communication across care settings.

Qualifications & Skills

Requires an RN license and a nursing diploma or associate's degree; preferred candidates hold a bachelor's degree and have less than two years of experience, with dialysis experience preferred. Must demonstrate critical nursing skills, emotional intelligence, cultural sensitivity, and the ability to work safely and alertly in a safety-sensitive environment.

Key Duties

Providing bedside care, participating in a rotating weekend and on-call schedule, and adhering to standards of nursing care within a high-acuity inpatient dialysis unit.
