Saint Francis Hospital in Chicago is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for the Infusion Center/IV solutions. The role includes direct patient care, administering IV therapy, monitoring vital signs, and guiding patients and families about infusion medications.

You will respond to infusion-related reactions and support staff in a fast-paced environment at St. Mary's Infusion Center, located at 2216 W Thomas St, Chicago, IL 60622. Current RN license and BLS are required; BSN preferred.

• Current and valid state RN license.
• Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain.
• BSN preferred but not required.

Schedule: PT days 8 hour shifts

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse provides direct patient care within the scope of practice in the Infusion Center. Administers IV therapy to patients. Monitors patients' vital signs and reactions to medication. Instructs patients, staff, and families about infusion medications and premeds. Responds to side effects and/or adverse reactions during infusion.

Qualifications

• 1. Current and valid state RN License.
• 2. Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• 3. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $35.35 $53.58 The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
