Job summary

MercyOne Genesis Infusion Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for the day shift in a part-time/PRN capacity. This role focuses on delivering high-quality, compassionate care to outpatients undergoing infusion treatments in a medical home setting.

The RN will assess and manage patient needs, plan and implement care, and monitor outcomes using evidence-based practice while adhering to professional standards and patient safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate's Degree in Nursing.
• Field Of Study: Nursing.
• Basic Life Support training.
• ONS Certification preferred.
• RN licensure in Iowa.
• Experience: No experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provides and directs safe, effective, and culturally-competent care for outpatients undergoing treatment for cancer and other medical conditions.
• Assessment, diagnosis, outcomes Identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care using evidence-based practice.
• Management of pain, symptoms associated with treatment and illness, and quality of life during care.

As a Registered Nurse at MercyOne, you will Provides and directs safe, effective, and culturally-competent care for adolescent through aging outpatients undergoing treatment for cancer and other medical conditions. Key accountabilities include assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care using critical thinking and evidenced-based practice; management of pain, symptoms associated with treatment and illness, and quality of life; adherence to the Professional Practice Standards as defined by ANA; and active participation in quality monitoring

General Requirements

• Supervisory Responsibility: Direction: The job requires some accountability for scheduling, assigning or coordinating work.
