Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) in Illinois seeks an RN for its Regional Float Pool to deliver bedside nursing care across multiple units. The role rotates to facilities such as St. Elizabeth’s, St. Joseph’s and Holy Family, following competency-based float​ criteria.

The ideal candidate will be licensed in the state, have BLS, and prefer 2+ years RN experience with comfort in cross-training and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Pay Range:$32.00 - $48.00A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education.Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Regional IL Float Pool. Ideal candidates are patient focused, mission driven caregivers looking for an opportunity to apply clinical knowledge to coordinate and perform hands on acute patient care at the bedside. The Registered Nurse (RN)-Regional Float is designated to float to ministries/units across a region (multiple ministries) within the state. Will float to specialty area(s) based on RN competency level. Completes appropriate competency and cross-training required to float to designated units. Promotes and restores patients' health by completing the nursing process, collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members, providing physical and psychological support to patients, friends, and families, and supervising assigned team members. Assures quality of care by adhering to therapeutic standards, measuring health outcomes against patient care goals and standards, making or recommending necessary adjustments, and following nursing philosophies and standards of care set by state board of nursing, state nurse practice act, and other governing agency regulations.
