Job description

Registered Nurse/RN III – Labor & Delivery PRN Days

Work location: Texas Health Rockwall - 3150 Horizon Rd, Rockwall, TX 75032

Work hours: PRN “as needed” – variable days 7am-7pm, Required: a minimum of (6) 12-hour shifts per six-week period, two weekend shifts per six-week period, one major holiday and two minor holidays per year. This position does not include medical benefits.

Training: Must be able to attend training at the corporate office in Arlington from 8am-5pm during the first 1-5 days of hire.

Here’s What You Need:
  1. Nursing Diploma required or
  2. Associate’s degree in Nursing required or
  3. Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred
  4. 1 year experience as registered nurse required
  5. 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience strongly preferred
  6. Texas RN - Registered Nurse required upon hire and
  7. BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care required upon hire and maintained quarterly
  8. ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support required within 90 days of hire and
  9. NRP - Essential Neonatal Resuscitation Program required within 90 days of hire and
  10. NRPA - Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program required within 90 days of hire and
  11. IFM - Intermediate Fetal Monitoring required within 2 years of hire
  12. CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training required within 90 days of hire and maintained annually
  13. STABLE Program completion recommended
  14. AWHONN Fetal Heart Monitoring course completion preferred
  15. A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
