Job summary

Saline Memorial Hospital in Benton, Arkansas is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for ICU, PRN nights. The role requires bedside assessment, critical care expertise, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.

Applicants must hold a current state RN license and a BSN from an accredited program, with BLS; ACLS/PALS are preferred and ICU experience is required. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and shift differential.

Responsibilities

• Document medical necessity accurately in the record.
• Manage and revise the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
• Conduct timely QI assessments and communicate patient status to the team.

Join our team in a Critical Care Unit where you will provide compassionate care to patients alongside a dedicated team of Registered Nurses (RNs). You will play a crucial role in assessing patient needs, administering treatments, and ensuring patient comfort and safety. This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment focused on delivering high-quality patient care.

A Registered Nurse (RN) who excels in this role:

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs
• Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions
• Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient
• Perform timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
• Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient
• Perform timely and accurate QI assessments
• Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition to the care team, physician, patient, and family.
• Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care activities.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
• Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and psychosocial/spiritual support needs
• Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
