Job summary

Saline Memorial Hospital in Benton, AR, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the ICU to provide compassionate critical care in a designated unit. The role requires assessment, monitoring, and timely interventions for diverse ICU patients within a collaborative team.

You will work 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM with a focus on patient safety, accurate documentation, and interdisciplinary care planning, contributing to superior patient outcomes and staff development.

Qualifications

• Current state RN license required.
• Bachelor's degree from accredited nursing school.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS and PALS preferred; ICU experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and identify needs.
• Identify and initiate appropriate nursing interventions.
• Provide care appropriate to condition and age of the patient.
• Document medical necessity accurately in the medical record.
• Complete and revise Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
• Perform timely and accurate QI assessments.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition to the care team.
• Perform plan of care interventions, including medications, specimens, and treatments.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living.
• Collaborate across disciplines for transfers, discharges, and referrals.
• Advocate for patients' physical and emotional well-being.

Join our team in a Critical Care Unit where you will provide compassionate care to patients alongside a dedicated team of Registered Nurses (RNs). You will play a crucial role in assessing patient needs, administering treatments, and ensuring patient comfort and safety. • Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care activities.
• Assistspatients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
• Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and psychosocial/spiritual support needs
• Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.

Whatwe'relooking for:

Applicants should have a current state RN license andpossessa bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school.Additionalrequirements include:

• Basic Life Support Certification
• ACLS and PALS preferred
• One year of ICU experience preferred
• ASLS certification preferred
