Job summary

AdventHealth in Rome, GA is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the ICU Neuro unit to provide high‑quality, patient‑centered care. This full‑time, day‑shift role includes 3 x 12‑hour rotations, with weekend rotation as needed, and a sign‑on bonus for eligible candidates.

Job Description

Minimum Pay: $35 / hour

Work Schedule: 3 x 12 hour shifts, 7am-7pm, rotating weekends

Sign on Bonus: $10,000 for eligible candidates

• The Registered Nurse RN ICU Neuro conducts comprehensive assessments to evaluate the physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors of patients.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care, regularly evaluating and revising these plans as necessary.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely, following physician orders and hospital protocols, and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies to promote understanding and compliance.
• Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care, ensuring effective communication and teamwork.

• 1+ acute care hospital setting [Preferred]
