Registered Nurse (RN) - ICU - Lorain Hospital

Join our team as a Registered Nurse (RN) - ICU at Lorain Hospital with Conduit Health Partners.

Position Summary: Provides care for complex patients through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of their physical, psychological, and sociocultural needs. Demonstrates clinical competency, nursing leadership, and coordinates patient care. Precepts new staff and uses essential care equipment. This role is at the Staff Nurse level on the Mercy (CHP) Clinical Ladder.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited nursing school
• Current Ohio RN license
• Completion of hospital orientation and probationary period
• 12+ hours of continuing education annually, including Fire Safety and BLS/CPR recertification
• Knowledge and experience in diverse patient care, effective communication skills
• ACLS certification within 6 months of assignment; BLS/CPR recertification maintained
• Neonatal and Pediatric Life Support preferred

Working Conditions: Moderate physical exertion, occasional adverse conditions, medium-heavy workload.

Reporting Relationships: Reports to Nurse Manager or Administrative Supervisor; may receive instructions from Charge Nurse or Director. Supervises LPNs and Patient Care Assistants.

Hours: 72 hours per pay period, 7 pm - 7:30 am, every other weekend and holiday.
