Responsibilities

As an ICU RN, your responsibilities include:

• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to medical emergencies.
• Operating and maintaining critical care equipment like ventilators and IABP machines.
• Providing compassionate care through effective communication and patient/family support.
• Assisting with diagnostic tests, follow-up visits, and wound care.
• Ensuring patient safety and maintaining accurate medical records.
• Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance care outcomes.
• Collaborating with the team to achieve departmental goals.
• Working flexible 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM– 7:30 AM).

Qualifications

We’re looking for candidates who meet these qualifications:

• Education:ADN, BSN, or MSN from an accredited nursing program preferred.
• Licensing (Mandatory):Active and valid RN license.
• Certifications:BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA, Red Cross, or Military Training Network accepted).
• Experience:A minimum of 2+ years of nursing experience (ICU or PACU preferred).
• Skills: Knowledge of critical care equipment, calm under pressure, and flexible with hours.
