Job summary

HiredFirst is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide high-acuity care in our ICU. The night shift offers 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a 36–48 hour workweek and rotating weekends and holidays.

Active California RN license, BLS and ACLS are required. BSN is preferred. Cerner EMR experience is preferred. Strong critical thinking and teamwork are essential to coordinate patient care and discharge planning.

Responsibilities

• Provide coordinated, high-acuity nursing care to ICU patients using the nursing process.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care.
• Monitor patient status and respond to critical changes using clinical judgment.
• Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, patients, and families.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to support staff as appropriate.
• Participate in patient education, discharge planning, and continuity of care.
• Document care accurately using Cerner (preferred system).

Night shift (3rd shift): 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (1900–0730)

Full-Time: 36–48 hours/week

Rotating weekends and holidays required

Auto-offer position

Possible float to ER as needed
