Ardent Health Services is seeking a night shift, full-time ICU Registered Nurse (RN) in Owasso, OK to join Bailey Medical Center. The role emphasizes high-quality patient care, age-specific assessment, and collaboration within a tech-enabled environment.

The ideal candidate holds an ADN with an RN license (compact acceptable) and must obtain BLS, ACLS, and PALS within 14 days of hire. BSN is preferred to advance the unit's care standards and patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• ADN from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN license or compact license.
• BLS certification required within 14 days of hire/transfer.
• ACLS certification required within 14 days of hire.
• PALS certification required within 14 days of hire.

Responsabilités

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document care per Bailey Medical Center standards.
• Provide care appropriate to the patient’s age and developmental stage.
• Assess data to identify patient requirements related to age-specific needs.
• Develop and implement the plan of care to deliver efficient, quality patient care.
• Adhere to Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act rules and regulations.
• Delegate nursing tasks to staff based on patient needs and staff qualifications.

• Bailey Medical Center offers a full range of medical services, including general surgery, maternity, gynecology, bariatrics, orthopedics and emergency care. The 73-bed hospital is one of the most technologically advanced hospitals in the region.

• Accountable for assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating and documenting care activities in accordance with BMC standards in order to deliver efficient, effective and quality patient care.
• Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit.
• Must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span, possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient’s status, interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his/her age-specific needs.
• The RN is to plan for the provision of patient care including the development, modification and implementation of the plan of care in accordance with BMC standards in order to deliver efficient, effective and quality patient care as described in the Patient Care policies and procedures.
• He/she is expected to adhere to and abide by the rules and regulations set forth by the Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act.
• The Registered Nurse may make decisions to delegate appropriate nursing tasks to other staff members based upon individual patient need and staff qualifications.

Job Requirements:

• Associates in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited school of nursing
• Current RN License or Compact License deemed by the OK State Board of Nursing
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 14 days of hire
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 14 days of hire
