Job summary

Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield, KY is seeking a Registered Nurse for full-time night shifts. The role focuses on comprehensive patient assessment, nursing interventions, and care planning to support diverse community health needs.

The RN must hold licensure, BLS, ACLS and PALS within required timelines; experience and HWC ASLS certifications are preferred to enhance patient safety and care quality.

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS required within six months of hire.
• One year of experience preferred.
• ASLS certification preferred.
• Handle With Care (HWC) certification within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Accurately perform patient assessments and identify patient needs.
• Identify and initiate appropriate nursing interventions.
• Provide care appropriate to the condition and age of the patient.
• Perform timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record.
• Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
• Perform timely and accurate QI assessments.
