The Kansas Health System at Liberty Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the ICU. You will apply the nursing process to coordinate care, promote safe, holistic treatment, and lead the interdisciplinary team in delivering high-quality patient care.
Key duties include medication safety, triage, patient and family education, care planning, and supervising others as a resource and mentor. CPR/BLS and ADN are required.
Registered Nurse (RN)- ICULiberty Hospital
Utilizes the nursing process to coordinate the interdisciplinary approach to patient care. He/she provides safe, therapeutic care in a holistic and systematic way and integrates knowledge, skills and experiences to meet the needs of patients and families through the continuum of care. The RN collaborates with others to integrate assessment and input of the patient, family and the interdisciplinary team and ensures improvements in practice settings by assuming responsibility for self-development in lifelong learning. Provides direction and guidance to others regarding practice, serves as a resource, preceptor, and mentor. Demonstrates leadership skills in decision-making and problem solving. The RN integrates and communicates knowledge and sensitivity to patient's psychosocial, spiritual, cultural and age specific needs and practices within the boundaries of the Kansas Nurse Practice Act, specialty standards and organizational/departmental policies and procedures.
