Abrazo Arrowhead Campus in Glendale, AZ is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Intensive Care Unit. You will deliver individualized bedside care to critically ill patients and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to lead care delivery.

The role emphasizes clinical judgment, collaboration, and a commitment to high-quality patient outcomes in a fast-paced ICU setting.

Competenze

• 1 year ICU or acute care experience required.
• Nursing degree from an accredited nursing school.
• Current RN license in Arizona.
• BLS and ACLS certification as required by department.

Mansioni

• Provide direct bedside care to critically ill patients in ICU.
• Develop patient care plans using the nursing process.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to healthcare team members.

Job Summary

As a Registered Nurse in our Intensive Care Unit, you’ll provide individualized, direct bedside care to critically ill patients, coordinate with interdisciplinary teams, and utilize your clinical judgment to lead care delivery.

Job Responsibilities

• Monitoring and managing patients requiring advanced cardiac, neuro, or hemodynamic support
• Using evidence-based practice and the nursing process to develop patient care plans
• Supervising and delegating tasks to members of the healthcare team
• Participating in hourly rounding and maintaining a safe, patient-centered environment
• Taking charge responsibilities when needed

Job Qualifications

• Strong critical thinking and communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced ICU setting
• Excellent teamwork and collaboration
• Passion for delivering compassionate, high-quality patient care

Minimum Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 1 year of ICU or acute care experience
• Education: Nursing Degree from an accredited nursing school
• Certifications:
• Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Arizona
• BLS and ACLS (required per department/facility guidelines)

Preferred Requirements

• Experience: 2 years in ICU or Cardiac Stepdown with experience in neuro/cardiac assessments and hemodynamic monitoring
• Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Certification: Specialty certification a plus
