Facility: Prime Healthcare St Francis Hospital

Overview
  • Department: ICU, Critical Care
  • Schedule: Nights, 7p-7a, 12-hour shifts
Responsibilities
  • Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Provide direct patient care within scope of practice.
  • Guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining care standards in the ICU.
  • Be directly responsible and accountable for the care of assigned patients.
  • Communicate with physicians about changes in patient’s clinical condition, diagnostic results, and abnormal findings.
  • Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition or response to treatment, maintaining privacy and confidentiality.
Qualifications
  • Current and valid state RN License.
  • Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
  • Preferred: Completion of Critical Care Course, CCRN certification, BSN.
  • Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
  • Minimum of one year as a staff RN in acute or critical care preferred.
