Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing leadership for the hospital during scheduled shifts
• Supervise and mentor nursing/support staff
• Determine staffing based on census, patient acuity, and flow
• Provide direct patient care as needed
• Handle patient complaints and coordinate transfers
• Ensure staff has necessary equipment and supplies
• Implement evidence-based practices
• Maintain records and assist with quality audits

Qualifications:

• Critical thinking and decision-making skills
• Ability to work independently in stressful situations
• Associate's degree required; Bachelor's preferred
• Valid RN license in Kentucky
