Job summary

Advocate Health’s Aurora Health Center – Manitowoc County in Two Rivers, WI is hiring an experienced Registered Nurse for inpatient hospital float duties. You will rotate across Med/Surg, Stepdown, Same Day Surgery, and assist in Emergency Department, with nights 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM and weekend/holiday rotation.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing program.
• Active RN license in Wisconsin or state of practice.

• Provide comprehensive patient care utilizing the nursing process.
• Coordinate care and communicate with multidisciplinary team.
• Float between departments; ensure patient safety and quality care.

We’re Looking For:

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing

• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices

• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association

• Required to obtain ACLS and PALS by the American Heart Association

• Inpatient RN experience preferred

What You’ll Do:

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.

• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
