Job summary

VIA Health Partners is seeking compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our Hospice House team in Clinton, South Carolina. The role offers day or night shifts, three 12-hour shifts per week, and membership in an interdisciplinary team providing hospice care.

The RN will assess needs, develop care plans, coordinate services, and ensure high-quality patient-centered care for life-limiting illnesses in a Hospice House environment. A Compact RN license and CPR are required; CHPN is a plus.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree or Diploma in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Current, active, and unrestricted Compact (Multistate) RN license required.
• Current CPR certification required.
• CHPN certification preferred.
• One year of related nursing experience for inpatient unit positions.
• Experience with life-limiting illnesses and hospice/palliative care preferred.
• Strong computer proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to individuals with life-limiting illnesses.
• Assess patient needs, develop and implement care plans, coordinate services.
• Deliver the highest quality hospice care in a Hospice House setting.

Position Summary

The Registered Nurse provides compassionate, patient-centered care to individuals with life-limiting illnesses while supporting their families and loved ones. As part of an interdisciplinary team, the RN will assess patient needs, develop and implement care plans, coordinate services, and ensure the highest quality of hospice care is delivered in a supportive Hospice House environment.

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate Degree or Diploma in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Current, active, and unrestricted Compact (Multistate) Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• Current CPR certification required.
• CHPN certification preferred.Minimum of one (1) year of related nursing experience for inpatient unit positions.
• Experience providing direct care to patients with life-limiting illnesses required.
• Relevant experience may include:
  • Hospice and Palliative Care
  • Home Health
  • Family Medicine
  • Internal Medicine
  • Geriatrics
  • Oncology
  • Medical-Surgical Nursing
• Strong computer proficiency required.
