Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Home Infusion RN to deliver in-home infusion therapies across Metro St. Louis and parts of Illinois. The role supports patient care with limited travel, offering meaningful patient interaction and continued professional growth in a specialized infusion field.

You will document care, collaborate with the care team, and maintain licensure across states as needed. This is a part-time position with travel time reimbursed.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license in Missouri and Illinois (or able to obtain IL license).
• Minimum one year nursing experience, infusion/IV experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one home infusion nursing care visits.
• Administer infusion therapies per physician plan of treatment.
• Educate patients and families about care instructions.
• Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists, and care partners.
• Possibly multi-state licensure requirements.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activity.

As a Registered Nurse (RN), Home Infusion you will work outside the walls of a hospital setting in a growing specialized area of the nursing field. If you are spending 12 hours on your feet or rushing from patient to patient with no time to provide quality patient care, this would be the perfect opportunity to change your work environment. Our nurses have the time and a balanced schedule to build strong one-on-one relationships with their patients and their families. In this role you will work up to 20 hours every week seeing patients in Metro St. Louis and some areas in Illinois. Could travel up to 2 hours one way to see a specialty patient. You will be paid for all travel time and reimbursed mileage. On call is not currently required.

As a Home Infusion Nurse you will:

• Challenge your clinical nursing (RN) skills by receiving continuous training on leading edge technology and clinical requirements in specialty infusion. Certification and recertification expenses can be reimbursed for eligible RN’s such as Certified Registered Nurse of Infusion (CRNI®)!
• Provide a broad range of infusion therapies in our patients' homes
• Make a difference by using your clinical IV experience and personal touch to assist our patients recover in the comfort of their own home.
• Provide one-on-one home infusion nursing care visits and patient education in accordance with the physician’s plan of treatment.
• Additional licensure may be required in multi state service areas
• Have excellent written and verbal customer service skills in order to interact with the patient, physician, pharmacist and other partners

Registered Nurses (RN) with Coram CVS/specialty infusion services, have a uniquely rewarding setting to use their exceptional nursing skills.

Required Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse with current license in state of Missouri and Illinois. If you do not have a current Illinois license, will be expected to get one.
• Minimum one year nursing experience and we desire one year of infusion/IV experience
• Have and maintain current CPR certification
• Possess a valid and current driver's license and auto insurance
• Have experience with Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook and Word to document and track patient care activity
• Participate in on call rotation as indicated by staffing and business needs

Preferred Qualifications:

• Home healthcare experience a plus, but not required
• CRNI certification a plus, but not required

Education:

• RN Diploma, Associates or B.S. degree in nursing

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is: $26.01 - $68.55 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
