Job summary

UPMC Home Health is hiring Full-Time Registered Nurses (RNs) to deliver compassionate, one-on-one care in patients’ homes across the Mercer area. Daylight shifts with on-call and weekend rotations support a sustainable pace and meaningful patient connections.

Join a supportive interdisciplinary team, develop and manage care plans, educate patients and families, and document using a provided laptop. Mileage is reimbursed and benefits are comprehensive.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Active RN license in Pennsylvania or compact state eligibility.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• CPR certification per AHA standards (didactic and skills)

Responsibilities

• Deliver skilled nursing care to patients in their homes across Mercer-area communities.
• Develop and manage plans of care in collaboration with physicians and interdisciplinary partners.
• Provide patient and family education to promote independence and recovery.
• Complete required documentation (OASIS, visit notes, orders) electronically using a provided laptop.

Qualifications/Certifications:

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
• Active RN license (Pennsylvania or compact state eligibility)
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and required clearances
• Final title and compensation are based on experience, education, and career ladder placement.
• CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire

• Current licensure either in the state where the facility is located or, if the facility is in a state covered by the multistate Nursing Licensure Compact (NLC) agreement, a multistate license issued by a participating NLC state.
