Job summary

Elara Caring in Lake Charles, LA is seeking a Registered Nurse Home Health to join our team delivering high-quality in-home nursing care. You will assess patients, perform ongoing evaluations, and ensure care plans align with physician orders while safeguarding privacy and HIPAA compliance.

The role emphasizes education for patients and families, timely response to changes in condition, and promoting safe, continuous care across home environments.

Qualifications

• Current State license as a Registered Nurse.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (certificate, diploma, associates or baccalaureate).
• 1+ year of experience as a nurse in a clinical care setting.
• Home Health experience is preferred, but not required.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and support up to 50 pounds; assist with transfers.

As a Registered Nurse Home Health, you’ll contribute to our success in the following ways:

What is Required?

• Current State license as a Registered Nurse.
• Graduate of an accredited Certificate, Diploma, Associates or Baccalaureate School of Nursing.
• 1+ year of experience as a nurse in a clinical care setting.
• Home Health experience is preferred, but not required.
• Ability to frequently lift, push, pull, and support up to 50 pounds, including positioning or transferring patients and moving equipment
• Must possess a valid driver's license, maintain an acceptable driving record, OR have reliable transportation to travel between patient homes and assigned work locations.
