Job summary

Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, Florida, part of the Universal Health Services system, is seeking a per diem ER Registered Nurse. The role requires a Florida RN license, current BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIH Stroke Certification, and CPI within 6 months of hire.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Promote and provide safe, competent nursing care per facility policies and philosophy.
• Communicate with physicians and nursing staff about patient needs.
• Administer IVs and medications to aid patient health.
• Use medical equipment to monitor patient vital signs.

Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, Florida, has served the citizens of Manatee, Sarasota and surrounding counties for over 70 years. The Registered Nurse promotes and provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy. Demonstrates professional leadership and support to the healthcare team while providing the foundation of all patient-centered nursing care. Communicates with physicians and other nursing staff about patient needs, administering IV’s and medications to aid in patient health and using medical equipment to monitor patient vital signs.
