Job summary

Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, Florida, part of Universal Health Services, is seeking a per diem RN for night shifts at the Harrison Ranch Free-Standing Emergency Room (Parrish). Candidates must have ED experience and Florida RN licensure, with current BLS/ACLS/PALS and TNCC NIH Stroke certifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of ED experience.
• Current ER experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, competent nursing care per facility policies and philosophy.
• Communicate with physicians and other nursing staff about patient needs; monitor patient health.
• Administer IVs and medications to aid patient health.
• Monitor patient vital signs and use medical equipment accordingly.

Demonstrates professional leadership and support to the healthcare team while providing the foundation of all patient-centered nursing care. Communicates with physicians and other nursing staff about patient needs, administering IV's and medications to aid in patient health and using medical equipment to monitor patient vital signs.
