Hartford HealthCare's Charlotte Hungerford Hospital in Torrington, CT, is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process. You will educate families and coordinate with the care team in a community hospital setting.

The role requires CT RN licensure and an Associate's degree in Nursing; a Bachelor's degree is preferred. Shift is every other weekend and every other holiday, with opportunities for career growth within a statewide health system.

Registered Nurses utilize the nursing process (assessment, planning, intervention, documentation, and evaluation) to provide direct and indirect patient care based on area(s) assigned, addressing the appropriate needs of all patients. Follows nursing department philosophies, policies and procedures to develop unique education and care plans for each patient and provide appropriate education and support for family members. Utilizes judgment, knowledge and understanding of patient and family needs when directing ancillary staff.
