Advocate Christ Medical Center is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse with GI/Endoscopy experience to support the GI/endoscopy unit. The RN will perform nursing care, assist with pre-, intra-, and post-procedure activities, and contribute to patient safety and quality outcomes.
The role includes on-call responsibilities beyond the FTE and requires completion of an accredited nursing program with valid RN licensure and BLS certification. Experience in GI/endoscopy is essential.

Where You Will Work: The purpose of the Endoscopy Department at Advocate Christ Medical Center is to provide the outpatient with quality care through assessment, planning, intervention, education, preparation and performing GI/Pulmonary endoscopy procedures. Endoscopy provides Phase I and II recovery care for the endoscopy patient to be discharged home after the procedure;, utilizing the same nursing process and standards as mentioned above.
Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
